It’s been awhile since I’ve written something meaningful on my blog. So what better way to come back and speak about a little something from my personal life.
It’s amazing how time flies, how a stranger can one day mean so much to you. How one encounter can change your whole life. I’m a true believer in fate and that everything happens for a reason because of the choices you decide to make in your life.
Just imagine something in your life and not making that decision, where do you think you would be right now? That’s always something I tend to question myself about all the time. What if I never said no and what if I said yes. One word can alter your life in a glimpse of an eye and some things are better left in the past. Theres nothing more you can do but to keep moving forward even if you tend to question life.
I was going through so many unbearable things in my life at the time and I am just grateful to have this man by my side to pick me back up especially when I hit rock bottom. Most people wouldn’t know how to handle all the trials and tribulations I had to face in my life but he stood beside me turning all the negative to positives. I really don’t know what I would have done if he wasn’t by my side through all of the obstacles.
Just imagine if I never said yes to being someones date for their prom that I didn’t know, I would have passed on such an amazing person. Its such a crazy thought. To think that we did cross paths way before even meeting each other. I remember being starry eyed when I first laid my eyes on him knowing that I will never meet this guy and a few months later he’s my “blind” date for his prom.
I just wanted to give thanks to you. For constantly being my inspiration and motivation to be all that I can be. I know that I wasn’t the easiest person to be with and sometimes I question whether or not I’m good enough for you, you never stopped loving me.
The greatest feeling in the world is to know that you are loved unconditionally.
Because of you, you’ve helped me become stronger. To keep fighting for what I believe in and never doubting me when I tend to doubt myself. You deserve so much better than me and I just wanted to tell you how amazing you are. Working 4 jobs, paying for school, supporting your family, active member of XYZ and youth group for church, nursing major, and a full time boyfriend, you do it all. With you I’ve learned that theres no excuse in doing something just as long as you put your mind to it. If you can do it, I can too. I’m so proud of all of your accomplishments and everything that you’re doing to reach your goal in life with no hesitation.
Everyone deserves a love where you can grow and learn from each other. An intellectual and emotional relationship is far better than a physical one.
